Geronimo Stilton by Geronimo Stilton, Giuseppe Ferrario, and Elisabetta Dami

These amazingly hilarious books are some of my favorites from when I was a kid. They aren't like the boring normal books. They have great word choices and whenever there's a word that the author thinks the reader should pay attention to or it adds suspense, he puts it in a different color and text.

In these books, Geronimo Stilton (a mouse that lives in mouse city) is a neat freak who is scared of just about everything. His sister is the total opposite. Thea is always doing dangerous things and making fun of her older brother. Geronimo Stilton is a fun (most of the time) mystery book and is great for children ages 5 and older. I would rate these (usually about 100 pages) books a 4-and-a-half out of 5 stars.

Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin

Click, Clack, Moo was probably one of my favorite stories as a kid. My mom would read it to me until I was old enough to read it myself. This book is about a group of farm animals that find an old type writer in their barn and love to type on it. Farmer Brown hates it because he hears the same annoying sound all day. Click, Clack, Moo. Click, Clack, Moo. If that isn't bad enough. He finds out that the cows have been typing up complaints to farmer Brown. When farmer Brown wouldn't do what they wanted, they'd simply go on strike. No milk. What will farmer Brown do? I love this story so much that I definitely give it a 5 out of 5 stars. It is for children ages 2 and older and is 32 pages long.

I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore

I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)The Mogadorians have found them. They've hidden on Earth for as long as they could. They have been hunting them in order. Number one was killed in Asia, two in England, now three has been killed. Number four is next. He has been hiding with his protector since he escaped from his destroyed planet called Lorien. Will he be alive to even try to save the planet? Will they catch him? Torture him? Even kill him? I would give this book a 4 and a half out of 5 stars. I really liked it except for the fact that I didn't like how much it swore. This book is for children ages 12 and older and is 440 pages long.

The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan bk 2

Grover's gone missing, the camp is being destroyed, and even worse, the only way to save it is to get the golden fleece. The golden fleece is magical. If they secured it into their camp, then there would be no more sickness, always good weather, and no monsters. The only problem is that it's heavily guarded by sheep. You may laugh at that sheep part but they aren't just ordinary sheep. They are man-eating sheep. If you get even 2 yards away from them, they will tear you to pieces. So you see, it's kind of hard to get to. Is Percy going to reach the fleece in time or is their camp going to be destroyed? I would recommend this book to children ages10 and older. I would rate this 279
page book 4.5 stars out of 5.

Blind Side by Clair M. Poulson

Noletta was just out hiking with her dog when she heard gun shots. She ran up and saw a dead man on the side of the trail. When she heard something in the bushes, she turned around and suddenly felt something go through her head, and she fell unconscious. Someone had shot her. Luckily, her dog ran after the shooter and bit him.  He dropped his gun and ran. Noletta survived, but the price of her survival was to be blinded for the rest of her life. The shooter still thinks that she saw him and goes out and tries to kill her. Will he finish her off, or will her dog recognize him? I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this 328 page book for children ages 12 and up.

Maximum Ride #3 Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports by James Patterson

I used to love the first 3 books of the Maximum Ride series because they were so exciting and mysterious, everything I love.
In this book, the Erasers are completely gone. Not only are they gone, but they've been replaced my other better ones. Erasers that aren't even human. They're robots. Everything is going wrong. Max's group gets captured, they take sides, and Ari is back. Like I said before, I love the Maximum Ride series; but I've gotten very uncomfortable with how often they use the Lord's name in vain, that I didn't even finish the book. I love the book but because it uses such bad language instead of giving it a 5 out of 5 stars that I would've given it, if it had not been for the swearing, I instead give it a 2 out of 5 stars. If you are comfortable with that language, just know that it's the best book ever, but if you're like me, then I sugjest you don't read it. It is 405 pages long and I recomend it for children ages 12 and up.

Who would think that a 14-year-old boy could hold so much power. Not normal power like a president or teacher's pet. How about superhero power?
