"Double Identity" by Margaret P Haddix

Bethany is an only child. Or so she thinks. When her parents start to act very different and her dad suddenly drops her off forever at her unknown aunt’s house she starts to get suspicious. Then she starts walking around in the neighborhood and everybody is mistakenly calling her Elizabeth. She cannot ever get a hold of her parents and no one will tell her who Elizabeth is. Then one day a mysterious box comes with a number of strange items. And then, if that isn't weird enough, a strange man shows up asking loads of questions.  You’ll be glued to the book till the end. I liked how mysterious the author made the story. It felt like you could guess what would happen next and you could either be right or totally wrong. This book is for kids ages 8 and older. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
