"My Fairy Grandmother" by Aubrey Mace

9-year-old Kaitlin and her mother Megan are going to visit her grandmother Viola. She thinks it’s going to be a normal boring time in her grandma’s hot house without air conditioning. But when she gets there, she finds out that she will have a magical time. When her grandma tries to convince her and her mother that she used to be a fairy, Megan begins to believe that Viola has some mental problems. Will Katie believe her mother or give in to fairy past? In this magical book filled with fairy past you will find romance and action. I loved this book because you feel like you're in the middle of the story. This book is for kids ages 8 and older and has 260 pages. I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.

"Found" by Margaret Peterson Haddix

Jonah and his friend Chip have something in common. They are both adopted. They never really thought about what their past could have been, until now. Crazy things are happening. Jonah begins to get mysterious letters in the mail. There are people appearing and disappearing and even airplanes landing out of nowhere. In this action-packed book you will find things that involve the FBI and vast smuggling. I like that this book is different than any other book I’ve read before. This is book one of her serious "The Missing."  This book is for kids ages 9 and older and has 314 pages. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

"Dying to Meet You" by Kate Klise

When an author named Ignatious B. Grumply wants to find a new peaceful and quiet house to start his new novel, he moves into a mansion where he thinks it’ll be just him. What he doesn’t know is that an 11-year-old boy named Seymour already lives there with his cat and a ghost named Olive. When they try to scare him out of the house and push it too hard by putting him in the hospital, will they take pity or will they put on more scares? I love how in this book you can see both points of view. This is book one of the series "43 Old Cemetery Road".  This book is for kids ages 7 and older and is a 147 page book. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

"World's Worst Fairy Godmother" by Bruce Coville

Maybelle Clodnowski is the worst fairy godmother ever! She is so bad that her boss is only going to give her one more chance to prove she is worthy to be a fairy godmother. If she messes this up too, she’ll have to give up her wings and wand and become mortal. Now Edna Prim is another story. She has been awarded a fairy of the year award for 147 years. When Edna is assigned to look after Maybelle, what she doesn’t know is that Maybelle has a secret enemy. In this twisted story you’ll find good and evil, love and hate. I love this book because even though some of it is a fight between good and evil, it also has a mixed-in love story. This book is for kids ages 7 and older and has 110 pages in the book. I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

"Double Identity" by Margaret P Haddix

Bethany is an only child. Or so she thinks. When her parents start to act very different and her dad suddenly drops her off forever at her unknown aunt’s house she starts to get suspicious. Then she starts walking around in the neighborhood and everybody is mistakenly calling her Elizabeth. She cannot ever get a hold of her parents and no one will tell her who Elizabeth is. Then one day a mysterious box comes with a number of strange items. And then, if that isn't weird enough, a strange man shows up asking loads of questions.  You’ll be glued to the book till the end. I liked how mysterious the author made the story. It felt like you could guess what would happen next and you could either be right or totally wrong. This book is for kids ages 8 and older. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
