Every Bride Needs a Groom by Janice Thompson

Katie Fisher has dreamed of her wedding day for years. Not only has she dreamed of it, but she has also planned it. Anxiously awaiting the proposal from her boyfriend, she competes in a essay contest to win a beautiful wedding dress and the chance to be on the cover of the most popular wedding magazine. On the same day the announcement comes that she has won, her boyfriend breaks up with her. Planning to confront the owner of the facility and explain the situation, she meets the handsome and impressive former pro-basketball player who just happens to manage the wedding shop. Will she leave the dress and her dreams behind? Or will she swallow her humiliation and go through with it?

This book is 368 pages long and is for teens ages 14 and older. I would rate this book 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. I thought it was a very entertaining novel and it held my interest.
