Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter
Cammie is a normal girl. Well, not really. You'd only think that if you were a normal person. She's actually a secret spy. She goes to an all girl spy school where her mom is the head person. She loves to explore. Maybe that's why she knows more then her friends at her school, the Gallangher Academy. When she is sneaking around her mother's office, she finds that her mother is going to have some strange people at the school for a while. Boys. All the girls thought that they were prepared for anything, until the boys come and everything falls apart. I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. It is for children ages 10 and up. It is 236 pages long.
Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
Max and his family aren't normal. They aren't even people. They have wings and are much stronger then the average person. Where did they come from you might say? They don't even know that. They don't know their names or their birth date. They don't even know their own parents. When their worst enemies take their 6-year old sister away, they will risk their own lives to save her. Max is overwhelmed with anxiety. She's the head of the crew and she is supposed to be brave and lead them. She has to do so many things before time runs out. She's supposed to save the world. She's supposed to find her little sister Angel. Oh, and don't forget that she also has to travel and try to find out who their parents were. Will she be able to do it in time before they kill Angel? I would rate this book a 4 and a half out of 5 stars. This book is for kids ages 11 and older and it is 413 pages long. Just be aware that they do use the Lord's name in vain and it may make you uncomfortable.

Hero by Mike Lupica
Who would think that a 14-year-old boy could hold so much power. Not normal power like a president or teacher's pet. How about superhero power? After Zach's dad's plane mysteriously crashes while he's flying it, Zach finds that he is changing. Not like a normal change like your growth spurt. Like his whole life is changing along with himself. He finds out that the crazy stories his dad used to always tell him are true and he's expected to save the world. How might you think a 14-year-old boy could save the world? I guess you'll just have to wait and see in this amazing 5 star book. It is for children ages 8 and up and is 304 pages long.
